CIECA 2017 - Trondheim ,Norway

We attended the annual congress again in June this year which was held in Trondheim ,Norway. Representatives from around the world met to discuss ways to improve the quality of driver licencing, education services and road safety and share their real world experiences on a range of topics. This year we demonstrated our hazard perception clips in a 360 virtual world as if you were actually sitting in the car and you could see everything around you. This was made possible by augmenting our clips and using a VR headset and a smart phone. From discussions we had with delegates at the event there was general agreement that this technology has huge potential in a training environment where younger people are already very use to seeing clips in a virtual reality world.
